كان في مرضه الذي مات فيه ينقل في بيوت أزواجه فشق ذلك عليه فاستأذنهن أن يكون في بيت بعضهن فأذن له فكان في بيت عائشة رضي الله عنها حتى قبض صلى الله عليه وسلم
