أَخْبَرَنَا الثَّوْرِيُّ ، عَنِ الأَغَرِّ ، عَنْ خَلِيفَةَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَيْسِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ , قَالَ : " أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّمَ ، وأَنَا أُرِيدُ الإِسْلامَ ، فَأَسْلَمْتُ ، فَأَمَرَنِي النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّمَ أَنْ أَغْتَسِلَ بِمَاءٍ وسِدْرٍ ، فَاغْتَسَلْتُ بِمَاءٍ وسِدْرٍ "
