عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، " أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَبَّهُ رَجُلٌ ، فَقَالَ : مَنْ يَكْفِينِي عَدُوِّي ؟ فَقَالَ الزُّبَيْرُ : أَنَا فَبَارَزَهُ ، فَقَتَلَهُ الزُّبَيْرُ ، فَأَعْطَاهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَلَبَهُ "
